What do Joe Biden’s picks have in common?

As far as women are concerned, right from the jump, former Vice President Joe Biden promised a team that would look like this country.

His very first pick was historic — Kamala Harris for vice president, a woman who also checks two other identity boxes — Black and Asian. The Democrat’s trifecta. (And she’s married to a Jew, but we don’t talk too much about that.)

It started with Kamala (Photo: Daily Mail)

In the last 48 hours, Biden has named his senior communications team — seven women — and more.

For director of national intelligence, the first woman to head the agency, Avril Haines.

The first Black female ambassador to the U.N., Linda Thomas-Greenfield (another double-dipper who also checks the Black box). The first woman ambassador was Nikki Haley.

For Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen.

Management and Budget, Neera Tanden.

There will be more to come, and I am not troubled by the number of female appointees, even if the country this looks like is Lesbos.
