I have to admit that I’m still thinking about your last offering. I wonder if we would invite the same fellow who helped with the slavery materials at the President’s House back again for redecorating Independence Hall?
A a general rule, its clear that Black Americans want their freedom; and good for them!
As for the political cults of multiculturalism and identity politics generally–so dear to the hearts of the Democrats–it seems clear that a social and political policy where the “squeaky wheel gets the oil” (and only squeaky wheels get the oil), is liable to produce a proliferation of squeaky wheels. I doubt that we can run a country on this basis.
Biden may actually be moving in the right direction –toward addressing broad and growing economic inequalities? But I am afraid that he is simply too old to do the job that needs to be done. Once you introduce the idea that some folks simply must have special treatment the idea is bound to spread like wildfire; and all the rigidities needing reform, and all those benefitting from those rigidities (“vested interests,” as we used to say) will try to hide behind the advantages granted.

The indigestion and outrage should be directed at the deep state DOJ prosecutors who had no case and instead focused on “process crimes” to obtain a conviction and the Obama appointed federal judge who did not dismiss the jury foreman for failure to disclose during jury selection that she was a fervent member of “The Resistance.” This case stinks to high heaven.

As far as Roger Stone: Jurors returned a guilty verdict on all of seven counts, including five counts of lying to Congress, one count of witness tampering and one count of obstruction of a proceeding. He should be in jail!

It’s a shame that you all go off on a tear. It’s so easy to get caught up in the many half-truths coming forth from both parties.
I don’t think any of us could be considered kids. I would think that most of us actually paid attention in school when we were learning the basics. Civics, American History, etc. Maybe even some of us pursued more knowledge on politics or our history. Then again, the rest of us were dogging bullets, then trying to feed our family while life was passing bye.
As I said before. I try to get informed from both sides of the aisle, as do some of you. I know that Charles is almost quoting what we all read about the Stone debacle. I also know that the party of the old rich white guy really does suck. They wont unite behind the President, because half of them are still stuffing their pockets one last time. I also know that the dimocrats all stick together- in plain view – under threats from princess Pelosi and cry’n’ Chuck Schumer.
As I have said often. I do know that as the swamp drains, the creatures that lie within – both dems and reps – are about to get tossed. Either out of politics or in jail. This has been going on for decades, and it’s about to come to an end.
The lies are going to keep coming and our President is going to rebuff them. The few good men and women that are by his side now, will weather this storm as more republicans wake up and loudly join in the fight to say our country.
No one – none of you – can believe that all of this crap that has taken place for the last 3 1/2 years is a coincidence ! None of you are so naive to think that the leaders of the dimocrat party actually care about the people of this great country. All of you should believe that when a Billionaire gives up the private life, with the hope of saving this country, that he’s the real deal !
