Far Left writers go bonkers in laying blame for attacks

I’m having a chuckle about a couple of chuckleheads from the Left — the Inquirer’s Will Bunch, Salon’s Amanda Marcotte — coming out with the, um, imaginative theory that the New Orleans and Las Vegas whack jobs who committed unrelated and dissimilar crimes were linked by a common motive — male toxicity.

Some Dems said Tim Walz had a new kind of masculinity

This theory comes from the slice of the political spectrum that can’t even define what a woman is. I mean, just ask them. They can’t, because they live in an ideological burrow, dug mostly by academics and nutty progressives who want to convince you science is wrong, that your gender is anything you say it is on any day of the week.

And from the party that unsuccessfully tried to convince America that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, he of the exaggerated hand motions and the camo cap, represented a new definition of masculinity.

I guess the two writers chose male rage because their first choice, racism, wasn’t available. This wasn’t a first for Marcotte. Last April she did a stupid piece for Salon that blamed the unprovoked attacks on New York City women on the male rage of MAGA men. Without a shred of evidence.

And by all means let’s not talk about what Shamsud-Din Jabbar said actually did motivate him — allegiance to the Islamic terror group ISIS.

That’s not a call neither Bunch nor Marcotte would dare make.

  1. Will Bunch! Why does anyone pay for his sophomoric opinions?
Why do the Inquirer editors keep so many misguided people hired at the paper?
Why does the Lenfest Foundation keep any of the Inquirer editors at the paper?
And the CEO there? Didn’t she write a series accusing everyone and every institution in our city of being racist?
Why does the Lenfest Foundation give the Inquirer any financial support, until they wise up, fire the incompetents, clean slate and hire better thinkers?

Those who like pro sports, however, tell me the Inquirer sports reporting is pretty good.

      1. Stu, I looked up the Lenfest Foundation/Institute and here is one sentence about their mission:
“The Lenfest Institute supports a sustainable local journalism ecosystem that can catalyze a more transparent, connected, and equitable Philadelphia by linking residents to their neighbors, to news organizations, and to other information resources that allow them to flourish.”
Oh no! Not another word salad!
No wonder the Inquirer is adrift.

  2. It’s the far-left whackos that have brought the Democrat Party into disrepute and behind-their-backs sniggering. Now we have the far-right whackos talking about Canada as a 51st American state, and invading Iceland…or is it Greenland? Or is it Norway? Somewhere there MUST be some sane people who would run for office with the intent to bring us closer to the center.

    1. Yeah, Vince, just like the far-right whackos (ie, Trump) have brought the Republican Party into LEGENDARY disrepute. And the so-called “traditional” Republicans are pussies who are too scared to speak up. Sorry, but if I gotta chose a party, guess which one I’m going with?

      1. lol! The republicans are in such disrepute after electing Trump president. And they had the help of millions of democrats who finally came to their senses. Let me know when you want me to send you a MAGA hat.
